The adventures were hired on by a man named Jameson, to help escort his caravan of supplies down to a potential homestead about 20 miles south of Rook. The caravan was ambushed by a pack of 'rabid' wolves on the open road. While they were dispatching some of them, their 'Boss' was attacked and dragged off into the woods by what appeared to be a huge wolf. Concerned about their wages, they followed in pursuit. As they picked up the blood trail they were again ambushed this time by bears and wolves. They took a few hits and even one of the group fell. After dealing with that second ambush they continued to follow the trail of blood, coming into contact with a Massive Wolf and a Ape Changing Druid... the flora glowed an eerie color but they dealt with their Druid.
